LONDON 12 August 2026:  Modulaire Group, Europe and Asia Pacific’s leading business services company specialising in modular services and infrastructure, is pleased to announce the appointment of Remco Teulings as Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective 15 September 2026.

Remco will succeed the interim leadership arrangements put in place in August 2025, under which Chairman Richard Ingram has led oversight of the business, working in close partnership with Modulaire’s Executive Committee, while the Board conducted a formal search for a permanent CEO.

Remco brings more than 30 years of international business experience across the building materials and construction industry, most recently serving as Group Chief Executive Officer of Building Materials Europe (BME).

Remco Teuling's career background

Remco has spent more than nine years at BME, joining the group in 2017 as Managing Director of CRH Europe Distribution and subsequently leading its divestment by CRH to Blackstone in 2019, before becoming CEO of the newly independent business, renamed Building Materials Europe. Under Remco’s leadership, BME developed into a major European building materials distribution group, also supported by 40 acquisitions. Today, BME employs more than 12,000 people across approximately 920 locations and generated around €5 billion of sales in 2025.

Prior to BME, Remco was President, Europe, Middle East and Africa at Tarkett, where he had responsibility for a business with more than €900 million of revenue and 4,800 employees, spread across operations in 25 countries with many manufacturing sites. Before that, he spent six years at Knauf Insulation, including as CEO Central Europe, with responsibility for a €400 million business across the region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Albania and Kosovo).
