Modulaire Group and Willmott Dixon win prestigious National Sustainability Award

October 12th 2026

Modulaire Group and Willmott Dixon have won the Partnership of the Year award at the sixth annual National Sustainability Awards, which celebrate organisations turning sustainability ambition into measurable action.

The award, which was presented at the National Sustainability Awards ceremony in London on 8 October 2026, recognises a two-year programme that is reshaping how welfare facilities are powered on construction sites.

Through Modulaire Group’s Advanté business, Willmott Dixon deployed Oasis EcoLogic Solar welfare units across 146 UK projects, giving site teams access to canteens, offices, toilets and drying rooms powered by solar generation, battery storage and lower-carbon LPG backup.

By replacing diesel-powered cabins with solar welfare modular units that prioritise the use of renewable energy, the collaboration delivered strong results: the fleet operated on renewable energy for almost 90% of its running time, saving over 1,000 tonnes of carbon and generating £450,000 in savings for Willmott Dixon.

Inder Poonaji, ESG & Sustainability Director at Modulaire Group, said:

“We are delighted to win this award with Willmott Dixon. Partnership is what turns good ideas into real change on site. Working closely with Willmott Dixon, our Advanté team has applied a proven solar welfare solution consistently across projects, helping to cut diesel use without compromising the facilities people rely on every day. This award recognises the strength of that collaboration and our shared commitment to making lower-carbon construction practical at scale.”
